Welcome to our website!
We put this together in hopes that it would make things a little easier
for those both in and out of town. Even
though everyone knows that Washingtonians are extremely sincere, warm and
hospitable people, you can improve your odds of survival if you take a few
precautions. Do not contravene our
instructions in any way.
A
few general comments. Weather in
Washington can be a bit fickle. Since
part of the wedding is outdoors, consider a corduroy suit, especially the
heavily ribbed ones that make noise when you walk.
If you would like to fit in as a trendy local, order a Harvey Wallbanger
at the bar. If you have brought
someone you would like to impress, take him or her to Restaurant Nora across the
street from our wedding site. You
can eat dinner there and save us big bucks on the catering tab.
Let us know in advance. (Casey’s
note: For those of you aren’t yet familiar with Richard’s sense of
humor…Just kidding! She is
in no way responsible for this page of the website and does not want this to
reflect on her judgment in any way (Richard’s note: except that, in fact, she
is marrying the one who wrote it...)).
Back to being serious. We are delighted to have you visit our website. Thank you for being a part of our lives, and we look forward to seeing you on the big day. This is probably the biggest single event in our lives, and since neither of us have been married before, if we seem a bit dreamy-eyed and harried, please forgive us.
