OMG!  Seriously... OMG.  I can't believe it's been almost two years since mom updated this site.  Two years... that's crazy.  I heard her saying she's feeling very sad that our family web page has not been paid attention to for such a long time.  With the new day of online photo albums and facebook, who needs a family web page?  But we can't get rid of all the memories and all the hard work put into this site, can we?  NO!!!  NO is the answer.

Ok, so let's try to briefly cover what's happened since the last posting in April of 2007.  Wait, hold the phone chuck.  There was a typo and it has only been about a year since last posting.  Oh, thank goodness.

Let's continue.  The summer of 2008 was a blast.  Jack and I went to Stroller Strides with Mommy on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.  We had family day on Wednesday's and did things like the zoo, hiking, Children's Museum, Pink Palace, etc.  In July we went to Sarasota and spent hours, literally hours in the ocean.  The water was so calm and warm and we just had a blast.

In September of 2008, Jack and I both started school at Collierville Methodist.  I'm in Jr. Kindergarten five days a week, and Jack's in the Young 2's on Tues/Thursday.  I absolutely love my class.  Jack wasn't happy about going to school the first few weeks.  He cried and cried for mommy, but eventually he got over it and now he loves it.   He loves his girlfriend Ella too :)

Have I ever mentioned Nancy?  She's my stuffed rabbit and I sleep with her every night.   She's my best friend and if anything ever happened to her, I would be very upset.  She travels with me wherever I go.  Jack's got a best friend too - his blue elephant.  He carries it everywhere and even takes it to school for nap time.

My interests nowadays are the solar system, anatomy, dinosaurs (still), and animals (again).  For my nighttime book, I like to read my animal or dinosaur encyclopedia.   My folks read a few pages every night and we stick a bookmark to hold our place.  It takes us a while to finish it :)

Jack's favorite book for the longest time was Gossie.  Now he likes to read different things.  Jack LOVES to sing and dance.  During Christmas, he would sing Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer over and over.  He now likes to sing 10 Little Monkeys, Wonder Pets, and Backyardigans.  He loves to watch these shows too - and his new favorite is Olivia.  I went through a crazy Power Ranger and Transformer phase.   I still plop back into them every now and then.

Let's talk about some firsts.... On January 1, 2009, Jack slept in his big boy bed.  Yay Jack!  He's done very well ever since and never gets out of it at night like I used to do.  I guess it drove my parents crazy and they're super stoked Jack didn't do it.  Wanna hear about my 1st?  I lost my very first tooth on January 5th, 2009.  I was one of the only kids in class to lose a tooth.  The tooth fairy gave me FIVE dollars.  Can you believe it?  That's a lot of money.  Another 1st for Jack... he just started going pee pee on the potty and went poopy on the potty for the first time TODAY!!!  My parents were so happy because I was way past three my first time.  Guess bro's can be pretty different, huh?

I guess that's about it.  Check out pictures on Picassa - mommy's very good about updating that!!  Love ya'll.

Mom sure did wait a long time to get our page up.  Thanks Mom!

A lot has happened since my (this is Coby speaking - Jack's too little to talk) last post in April last year and Jack's in June of last year.

In September, I started school at Collierville United Methodist.  I go on MWF from 9:30-2:30 and absolutely LOVE it.  My teachers are Ms. Teri and Ms. Jean and they're very nice.  They say that I'm one of the sweetest students and always listen to them (duh).  For lunch I eat Chicken Nuggets every single time because I'm pretty picky at the moment.  I've started trying fruits and veggies but every time I put something new in my mouth, I tend to gag.  I threw up the other day eating a blackberry - but at least I tried it, right?

In the fall, I played soccer in the Munchkin Madness League.  I kept telling my parents I loved it, but while I played I'd get upset when someone tried to take the ball away from me, and I'd get bored and just hang out on the grass and plop myself to the ground.  I think I'll wait a while before I play again.  My folks wished the coaches would have taught us some soccer skills instead of just throwing us out on the field to play, but oh well, maybe next time.

I turned four in October and went to Pump It Up with all my friends.  It was sooo cool.  I love that place and want to go back.  Gran and Pa-Pete came for my birthday again - they haven't missed one yet.  Good times were had by all.

Halloween was extra fun because I was able to wear my costume and get candy so many times.  We went trick-or-treating on the Collierville Square, I wore my costume to school for our Halloween parade, Anna and I went to trunk-or-treat, and I went trick-or-treating in the neighborhood with Anna and John John.  It seemed like I got a lot of candy, but I think mommy and daddy ate some of it :(

Christmas was pretty exciting too.  I was totally into superhero's for my birthday and Christmas and got tons of them, in addition to Godzilla's and King Kong stuff.  Jack likes to play with all my toys too but sometimes I don't let him.

The beginning of 2008 was pretty uneventful.  We spent our days going to school, hanging out in our yard, going to playgrounds, doing some hikes, and playing with friends.  Did I mention that I love my house?

I'm posting just a few pictures here, but you can Check out all our pictures on Picassa!
