5th Month, October 9-Novemeber 8, 2006

I had a bunch of "firsts" this month.  I rolled over shortly after my fourth month birthday (about three weeks before Coby, thank you very much).  My parents like to chant "Jackie's on the fast track, Jackie's on the fast track".  My rollover was a bit uneventful as my parents were getting Coby ready for school.  They laid me on the couch and left me alone - I figured the only way to get their attention was to roll over.  It worked.

What else?  Oh, I started eating solid foods this month.  First it was the rice cereal (yuck!), then I had oatmeal and LOVED it.  On my five month birthday my momma gave me squash - it was pretty good.  I'll keep you posted next month on all my new foods.

Coby and I dressed up as superhero's for Halloween.  I was Batman and he was Superman.  Gran and Pa-Pete hung out with me, while mommy and daddy took Coby trick or treating. 

I've been sleeping a bit better this month, although sometimes I wake up rolled over and I start crying because I can't get myself back to sleep. 

Oh, and I weighed in at 18lbs 8oz (95%), 25 1/2 inches (75%), and my head was 44 12/ cm (90%).
