2007

2007 started out sooooooooooo much better than 2006! We decided to move to Memphis instead of California so Chris could be home more often. We went house hunting in Feb and found a house that we absolutely LOVED! Most of the houses in the area have master bedrooms downstairs (I would say about 95% of them). It was crazy. The house that we found had so many pluses... 1) It was on a cul-de-sac, 2) It had an amazing landscaped and private backyard, 3) The master bedroom was upstairs... wahoooo!!, 4) The price was less expensive than we expected to pay. We loved it.

We said our goodbyes to everyone and headed down to TN in April. We drove to my parents house in VA and stayed the night. We then started the "14 hour drive" as we still talk about today. The goal was to stop and stay the night in a hotel, but we decided not to prolong the misery of car sickness, constant meowing by the kitties, and Jack's crying. We drove straight through. We arrived in our new place at midnight. We hung out without our stuff for a day until the movers arrived. Gran and Pop came down and watched the boyz while Chris and I unpacked.

In the next coming weeks, Chris fixed many things around the house. We hired painters, did the garage floor, bought new fixtures, and spent tons of money. We then realized we had none left so after making the house liveable, we took a break!

The summer was HOT and HUMID! Jack was crawling so we didn't hang outdoors much as he would scrape his knees and stick everything in his mouth. We did head to the spray park quite a bit at WC Johnson - both Coby and Jack really enjoyed it.

Katie and I taught free Stroller Strides classes all summer and had our Grand Opening in September. Once again, Stroller Strides started becoming a huge part of my life. I met some great mom's - many of them who recently moved to Collierville as well.

Chris barely worked this year. He was on reserve and worked about 1-4 days a month. Sweet!!

Gran and Pa-Pete came out to celebrate Jack's birthday in June and Coby's 4th birthday in October. Coby invited his school and Stroller Strides friends to Pump It Up for the big bash.

Aba and Abu came to visit in August - it was HOT HOT HOT!

Coby started school at Collierville United Methodist in September on MWF from 9:30-2:30. What a great school! Coby loves and and we love it too.
